The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting internal marketing initiatives for Tahzoo. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and tracking marketing efforts such as email, web, social media, and events. Our ideal candidate is an organized, proactive, and creative individual who thrives in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

What you will be doing:

• Partner with internal creative and development teams to oversee updates and changes to tahzoo.com
• Conduct market research and report on trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior
• Coordinate social media campaigns, content calendars, and content creation processes
• Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing and sales efforts to ensure consistent messaging
• Track and report on web traffic/campaign data and make recommendations for future strategies that are data-driven, measurable, and realistically executable

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing
• 2+ years’ work experience in a Marketing role, ideally in a B2B setting·
• Solid understanding of digital marketing including web, search, social, brand, and partner marketing
• Exposure to web analytics
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to create presentations that clearly communicate results of marketing-related initiatives to our executive leadership team
• An entrepreneurial spirit, strong problem-solving instincts, and a desire to learn
• Must be located in the Washington DC area and willing to commute to the company location
